Good solid Mexican food. I've been here a few times and I am still getting to know menu. Good service. Chips, salsa, and beans... Everything we have had here has been good. It's our go to local Mexican restaurant.
Doesn’t look like much from the outside but if you want affordable basic Tex-mex check it out. The pick 4 for $12,99 including rice and beans is an incredible deal. Choose from relleno, enchilada, taco, burrito, tamale, all with choice of meat and sauce. Relleno is huge. Awesome place.
This is what I would consider an older building on the side of a country highway. They have decent enchiladas, fajitas and the free charro beans which are in a big kettle to eat dine-in. They are a little spicy which I love. Their salsa is also spicy which I love. They make their pecan pralines in house. So occasionally cant resist one on the way out.
First visit have heard good things. Enjoyed everything the guacamole and pico were fresh & delicious. Friendly staff glad we stopped in will be back.
Really cute, small town restaurant. Food all tasted cook to order and everyone in my table of 8 enjoyed their food. 10/10
This is my favorite Mexican food places in Whitney. It reminds me of going to lake as a child in Arizona and on the way home stopping at getting some good Mexican food. It is a very casual place with friendly service with lots of good food. Oh also they have beans in a Huge Crock serve yourself go get it and eat all you want.
This is a little mom and pop home style road side dive just east of Whitney on highway 933. We drive past it on our way to College Station and decided to stop. The place is a hit and worth the trip. There is a picnic table outside that you can eat on as well as indoor dining.
What an amazing experience! We weren’t sure at first driving up, and were SO pleased with the food and service! Couldn’t even snag a picture of the sopapillas our amazing waitress Tish convinced us to get because we ate them so fast. We are DEFINITELY coming again next time we’re in TX!
